The DSS is built in so completely flush with the top of the drawer unit – very neat, and means you get an unobstructed flat top when the fridge is removed.
The slide extends fully to give you good access to your fridge.
There is also a solid base below the slide so stops anything from falling into your drawer or getting caught up when operating the slide.
Its really handy having the fridge slide out next to your table – good to have a surface put things onto when unloading the fridge.
When the DSS is used we normally increase the unit height to 300mm – gives you good storage space inside the drawers.
We build the DSS to any size so it can be made to suit any fridge.
The DSS comes with surface mounted tie downs as standard like shown here, but you can upgrade to the flush tie downs for a complete flat surface.
If your DSS is going on top of a drawer system then the flush TDP’s are recommended, but if you have the fridge slide down low (see below) then the flush TDP’s are not so important (although they are neater).
The DSS can also be built into a fridge box like this. By using the DSS the fridge space can be made the perfect size to suit your fridge – so no wasted space, plus you get max width drawers + table next to the fridge.

Here’s another style of system the DSS can be used in – single drawer + table and fridge on the other side.

You can also add a bolt on box to you DSS like shown here – handy for keeping gear contained on your slide when the fridge is removed.
The box simply bolts on/off into some captive nuts embedded in the slide, so very quick and easy!
Slide out prep bench Note – available in silver or black finish – please confirm when ordering.
This prep bench is built into the DSS fridge slide. It has a laminated top and slides out on heavy duty ball bearing runners.
The bench can be used whether the DSS slide is open or closed – slides out in seconds so very handy when loading your vehicle / fridge.
The extended bench comes with a support leg – this is only really needed when heavy loads are on the bench
The leg quickly and neatly hinges away on the underside of the slide so very user friendly.
The DSS fridge slide can be operated normally with the bench included – same operation of the DSS fridge slide.
