Setting up the Drifta 200/300 |
||
|
Great for anyone tent camping. Without the Drifta, most people use a ricketty stove stand, and a wobbly card table to prepare and cook meals. Especially with kids, it can become a real tiresome hassle. Theres no bench space, you can't find anything when you need it, washing up's a real drama, you have to bend over all the time, it takes a long time to set up, and you have forgotten some of your cooking gear. Sometimes it doesn't feel like a relaxed camping holiday. The Drifta can take care of all these problems. Easy to set up, easy organised cooking, an essential part of your camp. If you go camping, you need a Drifta, just like your tent, just like your fridge. |

| STEP 1. First flip the lid over, then slide out the front panel and rest against the back of the Drifta. | STEP 2. Next snap out the two legs and lean them up against the side of the Drifta, then pull out one of the side shelves, located on top of the wash up tubs. | STEP 3. Connect the side shelves to the legs first, then connect the two shelves to either side of the Drifta. (these legs and shelves are universal, so they can go either side) |

| STEP 4. Stand back a bit, and check to see the legs are fairly straight, then flip over the lid. | STEP 5. Now connect the front bench. Thats it! Pretty easy hey. It would normally take about 30 seconds to set up. | STEP 6. There you have it. An instant portable kitchen. Plenty of organised bench space, drawer and cupboard space. |

| There's two pins to hold the front bench in place. They are located in the front left hand corner when packed up. | There is a hole located in the side of the kitchen for the gas hose. The bottle can sit on the ground at the back of the Drifta. | You'll find two timber wedges in the top drawer. They can be used to help level up the kitchen base, or under one of the legs. |

| The Drifta can be loaded into your vehicle either lying down or standing up. There are two timber skids on the back of the Drifta to protect it if lying down. | Using a couple of sticks off the ground, you can hang a plastic shopping bag off the black straps for your rubbish. Very handy. | |
