Here’s a good custom fit out. In the side door there’s a fixed kitchen unit – you can cook inside plus there’s a drop down shelf so you can cook outside on a nice day, or if you have a side awning. Inside there’s a fridge mounted on a box with the dual battery and 12V gear stored directly underneath. Out the rear one large storage drawer RHS and on the LHS a storage unit with lift off hatch’s to access. You can see the setup has lift out central boards so you can turn the bed into a seat and have a walk through. Also..we made a wall mount shelf unit – this one has a drop down door which doubles as a workbench when open. This customer came to Drifta with some sketch’s and ideas…and this is what we come up with – completely customized design.

SAME STYLE, BUT EXTERNAL KITCHEN……

Here’s a similar style layout, but this system has a slide out EXTERNAL KITCHEN built in place of the rear drawer, then a rear opening storage drawer on the other side.

The kitchen is seen here on the RHS – here its finished in a clear lacquer so you can see the timber, but we can also stain it black with brushed aluminium front for a different look.

The kitchen is a ripper and is ideal for cooking up a feed – stove space, drawers, cupboard, laminated top and more!

This kitchen has the top of the range slide out option – it slides out on Stainless runners so easy/quick set-up….plus also has legs attached so it can be set up free standing away from the vehicle when required.

On the LHS in this van we have the drawer + table, but we could do the lift off lids like in the earlier example…options may depend on what van/space you have, and also what you would like of course.

DON’T NEED A KITCHEN / FRIDGE….?

Similar to the above…this van had the bed base plus shelves at the rear, but then we made some overhead cupboards on the RHS plus additional drawers and a wall cupboard up the front behind the drivers seat. This customer didn’t need the kitchen and fridge, so we left them out and added the extra storage instead…basically we did exactly what the customer wanted!
