Battery Storage – built into drawers

Battery Box / Hatch

Battery storage built into the drawers – keeps the battery safe from damage, out of sight and the weight down low and nice and central in the vehicle. Also allows for a larger battery where some vehicles have limited space under the bonnet.

NOTE – compatibility of battery storage built into the drawer system is dependant on what style of system and also what vehicle – Drifta can confirm compatibility upon receipt of order/enquiry.

Battery recess $50

Suitable for 4wd WAGONS – the battery recess is one shortened drawer with a little cubby hole built into the back of the system for your aux battery. Normally positioned on the same side as the fridge – the battery is accessed by coming in through the rear side door and folding the second row seats forward. Normally (depending on what vehicle/drawer set-up) there would be enough room for the battery + BCDC charger.

Battery box / hatch $75

Suitable for DUAL CABS and some WAGONS – the battery box / hatch is one shortened drawer with a box + hatch access for the aux battery. This takes up a bit more space then the recess option (above) so won’t always fit in a WAGON, but its perfect for any DUAL CAB where there is more length available. Normally (depending on what vehicle/drawer set-up) there would be enough room for the battery + BCDC charger.
