The D2DEWT is custom made to suit exactly the size of your TWIN CAB/ EXTRA CAB. So it will fit exactly between the wheel arches, and the drawers will be full length. Included above one drawer is a fully removeable Drifta table. This is one of the handiest things you will ever buy, and it has a perfect spot to sit. You can’t buy this sort of setup anywhere else in Australia… we are sending these units now right around Australia. These drawers are beautifully made, very practical and cost effective. And you won’t believe how well they slide on our Teflon runners.

This is our hilux, we have a lot of people call in wanting to have a look at drawers, so this is a handy demo vehicle. We do 20 drawers a week, and about a third are twin cabs…

We have a D2DEWT – Drifta 2 Drawer Extended With Table, and sidewings fitted. Also recently put a drop slide in place. The drop slide is great for twin cabs because of the rear lift up window.

These drawers are full length, and full width. This gives a huge 26 % more internal space than the most popular steel drawers (see faq page)

This insert drawer is very handy, it’s on small slides, so can push forward or back, or lift out. Perfect for all those small items.

The dividers can be simply screwed in wherever you want them. See how between the drawers there is very little space wasted, the gap is only 15 mm. On this model, with the table, the drawer is less 50 mm in height to accommodate the table.

We can now also do this checkerplate polished aluminium protector strip. They are just screwed on. It looks nice, and helps protect the carpet edge, but it’s not too harsh or sharp either.

This shows with the drop slide fitted. These are fantastic really, especially for twin cabs with the lift up rear window, which obstructs the lid if you have a normal slide. We can supply these now, and do a good price on one with our drawers..

With our table as well, pulled half way out it makes a very handy bench next to the fridge. Your table is always the number 1 accessory really, when you are travelling, but it’s always the hardest thing to store in your vehicle. You can never find a good place to put it. But with our carpet lined table slot, it’s always at your fingertips, ready to pull out in seconds.

How good is that! You can’t buy a better table in Aus, 12 mm laminated ply, with our unique adjustable legs system. And really, with our prices, you are getting the drawer system much cheaper than anywhere else, and the table is included as well.

If you’re looking for water storage I can build in a tank…I have poly tanks and stainless steel tanks – and they are hidden below the top deck of the unit so out of sight and well protected! Email Beechy for details…. [email protected]

Here is the Teflon runners underneath. They are actually HDPE – high density polyethelene, but teflon is easier to say. By nature, this product is very slippery. When we put a bit of silicon spray on them, they slide unbelievably well. These 6 mm runners are rebated into the ply, and have matching runners inside the ‘drawer carcass’ also, so they are running teflon on teflon. This system is very simple, cost effective, and works incredibly well. Really there is no need for steel runners that are very expensive, heavy, take up a lot of room, rattle and get full of dust. Our drawers are not ‘load rated’, but why does it have to be? Put in them whatever you like. Most people carry similar stuff in their drawers, none of it really needs to be in a drawer that’s load rated to 150 kgs??? And these steel bearings, they have to be done up so tight, so they don’t rattle, that they really don’t slide that well anyway.

Here are the boys in the fitting bays of our factory, we are doing about 12 fitouts a week, the rest are freighted out.. if we freight them to you, they are completely finished, the hardest part is unwrapping them. If fitting, we can park your vehicle in our fitting bays, lend you another Drifta vehicle, you get a free coffee voucher for the local cafe, and head down town for an hour or two…

This is our new 3 bays of factory space, just about finished.. my brother Tim from mission beach, came down to build it for us which was great….so we have now 6 x 18 meter bays purely for building our 4wd drawers, made in a small country town Gloucester, all using young local aussies. We have now 26 staff on the books fulltime. 13 years ago i started on my own in my garage, and was a backyard business.. well not any more ! :)

Here is it, there is a finger hole, and you just lift off the hatch. We often do this with troopies, but also sometimes with twin cabs, some people may want a battery in there, or just some space separated from the drawers, like for recovery gear

Here’s a twin cab with the drop slide fitted… if you want a fridge, you really need the drop slide, not only to get to a better height, but so the lid won’t hit the rear window.. the MSA drop slide isn’t cheap, but it’s worth the money, and with the cheaper price we charge for our drawers, you are almost getting it free compared to other prices..

This is the waeco 80, on the DS60 slide.. the slide works great, and yeah gets the fridge away from the rear window, plus a much better height. we can do a good price on the drop slide, ask beechy for details.
