The DPO kitchen is a pull out kitchen, and the same as the DPOR, just without the return.. some people feel they don’t need this extra bench space, so that’s why we have the DPO. Very simple to set up, this is a beautiful camping kitchen.. a cover comes down over the stove, and a small front also closes this are in. all of the other features of our DPOR kitchen, lots of storage space, still plenty of bench space, sink / hand pump, space for stove, and three nice drawers. because the kitchen is the focal point of your camp set up, it’s so important to have an organised / functional kitchen….. for many people camping, like my mate Tim Parker always says “it’s all about the food” … the best thing about camping is to be out in the bush, and be able to easily prepare and cook beautiful meals.. with the DPO kitchen, you have the space, and functionality where you can do exactly this… designed, and still made here in Australia, in our Gloucester NSW factory, you’ll be proud to own a Drifta DPO..

SETTING UP INSTRUCTIONS this kitchen is shown as a RHS. we make to suit opposite, LHS. Also we can make slight changes easily, ask if you need something modified..
Pull the DPO out just enough to clear the drop down legs.
Swing them down, until they click in place. Then adjust the leg length. (the arrow shows where the legs will ‘click’ in place, to lock them down. )
Now pull the kitchen out most of the way, stopping around where the vertical hinge for the cupboard is. (arrow) you won’t need the second set of legs.
Now you can lift up the ‘folding end’ piece, and clip it into place.
Drop the front down, lift the lid up, and it’s ready to use.
Here is the cupboard. It can be used for dry food, ie packets / tin cans etc. It has a shelf a bit above half way down. It is fixed in place, as it is structural. See the brass finger catch to lock it closed. (shown by the arrow ) The drawers and the front have the same.
Your stove goes in the recessed area. It’s best to put some non slip matting under here. Or even a neat piece of cardboard . as it gets dirty it can be replaced. Under the sink is good storage for frying pan, chop board etc. To the right of that, is good for saucepans etc.
There is a hole in the end / back for the gas hose to connect to the bottle. This is the easiest setup for gas.
Here you can see the other set of legs that can be dropped down. This is so you can freestand it if you want to. There is a clip that holds each of the legs up in place. Have a look underneath to see it. (THESE SECOND SET OF LEGS AREN’T STANDARD, $70 IF YOU NEED THEM)
If you don’t have a water tank fitted, this is the easiest method for hooking up the water. Just push on the plastic hose. ( now supplied ) cut it to the right length, if too long, for instance in this jerry, it will curl up and you won’t be able to get all the water to pump out.
Or if you have a tank, make an outlet at the back of the trailer (see FAQ’S ) , then you can click on the plastic hose to the tank. Once the water is hooked up, you can use the handpump.
Also, some square ply packers are a good idea, for when in sandy county…. we can supply these for $10 if needed…
DPO PACKAGE DEAL: $1950 Plus Freight
Here is the DPO package deal. You get the DPO (Drifta Pull Out) kitchen, the SDSB (Small Drifta Storage Box), and the DSB (Drifta Storage Box). The top of the camper has been lifted up so you can see it all in place.
Once you open the tailgate, or drop it down, you can see the DSB and the SDSB. You’d lift out the SDSB first, to access the kitchen. See how it neatly fills the space in the trailer. You can’t do this with plastic tubs.
Now the kitchen can be pulled out. It’s pulled out most of the way, here with about 100 mm left in the trailer. The legs are folded down to support it. They are fully adjustable.
Now it can be opened up. you can see the extra folding bench on the RHS, the stove goes in the middle, the front drops down to reveal the sink and more storage space. There is three drawers with internal catches, and a cupboard on the end.
It has airholes in the sides to keep food fresh, and also the lid flips over to form a small shelf, very handy when you are digging around in there looking for something. This box also makes a great seat. Someone will always be sitting on it.
Here’s the storage box. It can be accessed anytime, even whilst the kitchen is out. The storage boxes are so popular now we can hardly keep up with them. Most of our sales are the package deals. It is really the perfect way to set up inside the trailer. Have a look at the video to see how easy it slides.
Here it is pulled right out (7 foot long) and supported on the legs. Imagine how easy this is to pack now. You can get so much more in, as you can now pack it neatly. Otherwise it is just chucked in. All you gear becomes a mess. They are just the handiest thing to use.
