NOTE – this extension bench can be built in to any Drifta unit which includes our DSS fridge slide – so suits for fridge down low (as shown below) and also if the fridge is on top above a drawer.
The extension bench is built into the DSS fridge slide….so the bench extends from the under side of the fridge – can be extended when the slide is in both open and closed positions.
To achieve a sturdy bench when the fridge + slide are at full extension we use extra heavy duty on the DSS, plus then our standard duty runners for the extension bench.
There is a support leg attached to the underside of the extension bench – it simply hinges down as extra support. Really this is only needed if there will be a heavy load on the bench.
Easy clean laminated work top. NOTE – the front of the bench can be finished in brushed aluminium, or black lacquered (this is default colour).
