Yet another great TOURING package from DRIFTA – this system combines pull out stove / fridge / bench on the RHS, with 2 drawers + table (optional) on the LHS…plus extra storage up the front thanks to the extra long length you get in a Troopy! Made to suit any stove and can be built to suit any fridge – although a smaller fridge is better as it makes use of the space more efficiently.

NOTE – external unit height is governed by what fridge you use – as a guide the finished unit height will be approx plus 120mm more than the height of the fridge.

Built to suit any stove, any fridge – each of these systems are custom made…so no 2 are the same! Here shown is a Weber and Engel, but whatever stove / fridge you have we can work around.

The baby Weber fits well, or a smaller style stove means extra storage / larger drawers below stove. With the fridge its best to have a low / narrow fridge if possible to maximize use of the rear of the space (although any fridge/stove can be worked with).

The 2 drawers below the stove are good for cutlery, utensils, etc..– if you have a smaller stove then maybe even plates/cups. The end bench is non removeable with just the 1 support leg (removeable table an option on LHS of this system).

The removeable table on the LHS is optional, but really it’s a must! Can be used part slid out an extra workbench, or removed completely and set up free standing on the ground (takes about 3 seconds).

The 2 LARGE storage drawers on the LHS are good for food, pots/pans, chairs, recovery gear….whatever you need – lots of storage space in these drawers. And the flat deck above everything – ideal for a mattress, or if not then more storage.

At the front of the unit we build in 2 boxes with lift off lids…again more storage. Or you can UPGRADE and make the access through 2 drop doors on the front (accessed by tilting front seats forward).

No fridge on slide out option…..

Here’s an alternative layout – this customer had 2 fridges mounted in behind the front seats, so the slide out for the stove we built in a kitchen style storage area – 2 drawers + a large cupboard with adjustable shelf (plus the 2 existing drawers below the stove). Still with all the great features of the standard design…just with the extra built in section next to the stove.
