Sits neatly in the back of the vehicle, or as part of our combo. Holds all your kitchen equipment, but can easily be lifted out and setup freestanding in about a minute. The advantage with the the Single Drawer Car Back kitchen, is when it is inside your vehicle, either on it’s own, or as part of a combo, you can access the whole storage area inside, without having to pull it out. (as opposed to the standard carback kitchen, where you can’t access the front two drawers without pulling it out) This makes it great for quick stops, when you just want to make a cuppa. Once you pull it right out, it really has the same features as the standard DCB. The setting up page has lots more info on this.

SETTING UP DETAILS
Here’s the SD DCB , Single Drawer – Drifta Car Back. I’ve lifted it out of the truck , set the legs down, flipped the bench over, and hooked up the jerry can. You can see I’ve got all my kitchen gear in there…
Once you pull the drawer right out, you get your stove and the tub out.. things you don’t need can stay in the drawer. See the cutlery insert drawer at the back, it sits above the tub. Once things are out, this can slide forward. You can just make out a rail that it slides on..
See here now the cutlery insert drawer is pulled to the front, it’s easy to get to. The empty space from the tub and stove is now up the back, so you don’t have to pull the drawer out very far.
How’s that for a setup. You can see on the video how easy it is to set up. You now have a stove, sink, hand pump, I have two billies, one hot water jug, frypan, plates, bowls, cups, all cutlery, tea and coffee. It’s amazing how much you can fit in if you pack it neatly..
If you have the carback combo, then you can also lift the table out..it also has adjustable legs, so you can get it the perfect height, and nice and level. This really is a luxury setup when camping or travelling, so easy to setup, and very practical.
