Here’s a system that suits all 4wd wagons. This system offers a LARGE slide out drawer, Drifta’s unique slide out table plus easy access to the fridge down low – so eliminating the need/expense of a drop down fridge slide! We normally build in our DSS fridge slide, but we can also use your exiting fridge slide if you already have one. The fridge box/surround is detachable with a drop in panel available to make a nice flat top when the fridge is removed – ideal for everyday use! The exact build depends on what vehicle and what fridge you have – so often we can incorporate a box/hatch (ideal for battery) and/or a water tank storage. Cargo barriers also available for most vehicles.

We have a great selection of accessories to go with our 4WD Drawers – fridge slides / sliding top, tie down points, water tanks, cargo barriers, aluminium edging, insert drawers, swap drawers, lock box, bed extension and more…..
This is the drawer / table / fridge unit + slide out table + side wings. Drifta’s stylish design and high quality finish, with this system the fridge is set down low – so easy to access on a standard (non drop) fridge slide. The fridge can go EITHER SIDE.
We mainly use the Drifta DSS (built in) fridge slide with this system – the DSS can be made to the EXACT size needed so maximizing your storage around the fridge – plus the DSS is very neat and light weight. If you already have a fridge slide then that can also be used.
Next to the fridge you get a FULL LENGTH storage drawer…so bringing your stored gear out to you. This drawer is max size…you can see there is no wasted space thanks to our Teflon slide system – so we save space, weight and of course cost by doing away with normal roller runners – and Drifta drawers slide very free and easy.
The teflon runners can be seen here – very simple design, but very effective. And all the weight is sat directly down so very strong, unlike with runners where the weight is suspended off the sides and can fail.
The table is unique to Drifta and fits above the drawer so is always ready to use and easy to get to. The table can be used half slid out like this…..
…or can be set up free standing with the full set of steel legs attached to the bottom. Solid 12mm laminated top and fully adjustable…its one of our most popular features.
The fridge box/surround is optional, and can easily be removed by undoing 3 bungy straps like shown here.
Here’s a photo with the fridge removed. You can see the optional drop in panel – so making a completely flat deck when the fridge is removed. The panel just sits in place so very easy to use, and the DSS can still be operated…so its very handy.
Depending on what vehicle and what fridge you have, we can sometimes build in a storage box between the fridge and the seats….if there’s enough space.
This is an ideal spot for an auxiliary battery – or you can put whatever you like in here really.

Also available is this removeable box that bolts onto the slide – so when the fridge is removed you can use the slide as a drawer.
The box and slide closes up neatly, and then you can drop in the flush panel above and you quickly turn your slide system into a 2 drawer system!
Works well with the fridge box/surround above also.
The box bolts into captive nuts that are in-bedded in the main fridge slide board, so very quick and easy.
Low profile drawer
This low profile drawer can be added below the fridge (same length/width as fridge recess)….it measures 95mm high internal – ideal storage for small items, tools, etc… and a good way to use more of the available space on the fridge side of the vehicle.
Including this drawer option raises the fridge up a further 125mm in height (plus the standard 65mm the fridge is raised just by the DSS slide and base panel of unit, so 180mm total height to base of fridge).
The drawer slides out totally independently of the fridge slide, so if the drawer is already open you can still slide out the fridge above.
The drawer runs on our standard Teflon runner system (where as the fridge runs on the HD stainless steel runners).
The low profile drawer is compatible with ALL other options listed above. It works especially well with the BOLT ON BOX and the DROP IN PANEL like shown here….
….creates this neat 3 drawer system – so quickly converts your touring system to an everyday user….Drifta innovation at its best!
Slide out prep bench Note – available in silver or black finish – please confirm when ordering.
This prep bench is built into the DSS fridge slide. It has a laminated top and slides out on heavy duty ball bearing runners.
The bench can be used whether the DSS slide is open or closed – slides out in seconds so very handy when loading your vehicle / fridge.
The extended bench comes with a support leg – this is only really needed when heavy loads are on the bench
The leg quickly and neatly hinges away on the underside of the slide so very user friendly.
The DSS fridge slide can be operated normally with the bench included – same operation of the DSS fridge slide.
